Ajax championship trophy melted down into 42,000 small champion stars.

We got the original trophy back, melted it down and then added it very pure with the same tin. That way we had enough tin for 42,000 stars. By mixing it carefully and balanced, each star contains something from the championship trophy.

After a season without supporters, Ajax decided to melt down the championship trophy from the 2020-2021 season. As the creator of the original championship trophy, we received the special task to do this, and then cast 42,000 small championship stars from it. These stars were subsequently distributed to all season ticket holders of the club, literally sharing the trophy with all the fans in this way. Click here for the full article.
